Our Focus

Being present

Being connected

Being present

Zone Two aims to support people to achieve in-depth awareness of self and surroundings and to get to wherever they intend to be.

Allowing

Being connected

Being present

"Life is meant to be lived". We allow ourselves to be as imperfect as we can be, to be as weird as we can be, to make mistakes as much as we can and yet to choose whoever we want to be.

Zone Two aims to create a safe space to be who we are at this moment.

Being connected

Being connected

Being connected

Humans are hard wired to connect with others.  We help each other grow and nurture each other's roots in our shared ground.

With cultural humility and human rights in mind, we appreciate and celebrate diversity in our community. We hope everyone treats each other with respect and kindness regardless of the social economic cultural background.

I offer therapy grounded in a humanistic and trauma-informed approach,

shaped by compassion, cultural humility, and deep respect for each person’s story.

My work integrates self-awareness,

radical acceptance, and somatic (body-based) practices,

supporting clients to reconnect with their strengths, resilience, and inner resources.

With a foundation in social work and clinical experience across diverse communities, I create therapeutic spaces that are safe, relational, and empowering — where healing can emerge through presence, insight, and connection.

Special interest in:

Sue

As a skilled and professional counsellor with a dynamic and empathetic approach, I create a comfortable environment for clients to explore life challenges and develop self-awareness. This awareness empowers clients to manage their thoughts and feelings differently and find better ways to move forward.

I believe that understanding oneself can be a liberating experience. Life events, especially during childhood, can disrupt our development, leading to fixed patterns and beliefs that hinder our lives. I aim to guide clients through these challenges, helping them lead satisfying and creative lives.

My counselling experience includes working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I am a registered member of PACFA and use evidence-based therapies such as Emotion-Focused, Acceptance Commitment, Cognitive Behavioural, Solution-Focused, Mindfulness, and Strengths-Based therapies.

I have a special interest in recognizing that trauma and emotional challenges often reside within the body. Through expressive and sensory-based therapy, we can address deep-seated issues. By understanding and reprogramming negative automatic thoughts, clients can become agents of change in their lives.

  Who am I?

I am a holistic counsellor and art therapist with extensive experience in family and child welfare, mental health, and transformational processes through art.

I hold a Master of Counselling and a Master of Art Therapy and Psychotherapy from Western Sydney University.

As a counsellor, my goal is to provide an open, supportive space for clients to explore and resolve life challenges, transforming their lives by finding purpose. I focus on strengths-based practice, helping clients discover their strengths, build trust and confidence, set goals, and explore creativity to reach their potential.

Art therapy is a powerful tool for children and adults, aiding in the understanding and healing of conditions such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, eating disorders, grief, and trauma. It involves various forms of creative expression, including painting, sculpture, music, dance, poetry, and writing.

This expressive art experience promotes the integration and healing of the whole person, fostering purpose, direction, and joy. Beyond addressing immediate issues, our ultimate goal is growth, self-exploration, and happiness in life.

OUR Values

Together is a wonderful place to be.

"It's not our differences that divide us. It is our inability to recognise, accept and celebrate those differences." Audre Lorde.

"Kindness is a gift everyone can afford to give".

“Connection is the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard, and valued; when they can give and receive without judgment; and when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship.”  Brené Brown

"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf."

Jon Kabat-Zinn

“Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.” — Melody Beattie

Own who you are

Own who you will beome

Own the process

Own your life.

"Forgiveness is restoration of freedom to oneself; It is the key held in our own hand to our prison cell".

St. John Paul the Great

"Compassion is not a relationship between the healer and the wounded. It's a relationship between equals. Only when we know our own darkness well can we be present with the darkness of others. Compassion becomes real when we recognize our shared humanity,"  Pema Chödrön

“How would your life be different if…You stopped making negative judgmental assumptions about people you encounter? Let today be the day…You look for the good in everyone you meet and respect their journey." Steve Maraboli

“Understanding is the first step to acceptance, and only with acceptance can there be recovery.” J.K. Rowling,

“Perhaps it is true that we do not really exist until there is someone there to see us existing, we cannot properly speak until there is someone who can understand what we are saying in essence, we are not wholly alive until we are loved.”
― Alain de Botton, On Love
